JOE and DONALD got it wrong we should not care about the cost of EV cars from other places in the world the control iin the market will be in the recycling and of course the quality of the battery,but yes your procees is also benificial to quality control waste.It is so important we recycle all EV cars batteries here in North America, we have been foolish in are recycling shipping ti China for decades for EPA reasons when they dont adhere to same standards DC has been very foolish, the US once bought a shit load of micowave ovens just for the element in the ovens, EV cars should be no different, buying cheap ev cars may be one way to steal the elements from China so to speak and Recycle here, the control will be in the recycling
CHINA does not care how much they spend on mining for rare elements as long as they put thier competitors out of business, but good luck with that if one can recycle those elements, it is so important that LAWS be passed that these EV cars to be recycled only in the US or North america Washington leaders have been very foolish for decades
