So very sorry to hear of Larry Reaugh’s passing. He was a smart fellow, good to talk to and a square shooter. He will be missed by many in the mining industry and beyond. Larry was a colleague of my late father, Bill Clark (Freeport-Stryker), and ‘neighbours’ in the Rocher Deboule. Our condolences to his family and friends.
I was sorry to hear about Larry, I thought he was a first class guy and a extremely hard worker with a real vision of the future.
Sad news about Mr. Reaugh. One of his promotions for American Manganese always made me smile: “Do the math!” He was an exceptional business professional and a good man who fought the good fight. I have appreciated his discussion here and the generous time that he spent answering questions in person at the mining conferences in Vancouver.
I called to speak with Larry on the day he passed away. Found out the next day. I held shares of his companies since the mid-nineties. To say he was an exceptional man would be an massive understatement. In the Canadian junior mining sector Larry was head & shoulders above all! His integrity, dedication, & kindness was like finding a precious gem among stone pebbles, even through the Chinese debacle, where I know he put his own money into that project. Even though we never met personally, I have been blessed to know this man, I will miss him greatly! My heartfelt condolences to his wife, family & all you folks at AMYZF. Keep up the good work! The world was a better place with Larry Reaugh.
Sending my condolences. Larry you will be missed. You were a pioneer in the battery recycling ♻️
It was through another person that I was introduced to Larry in October 1999. Being a novice investor, I would call him way too often, but he never refused my calls. Not once. I grew to know him like a father, trust him like a brother, regarded him as a true friend, loved his integrity and personality. We would joke at life as well as deep discussions, even holding opposite political views at times, I strengthened my appreciation for life and shared dreams and goals through him by our chats that would go on for as much as 30 minutes. We were born only 1 year apart, so shared a lot of life times. I only found this page here now so am late writing. He was so knowledgeable and patient with me and always considerate. Of all the people I have met in this world and it has been multiple thousands, he stands about them all. I often take moments to think about our encounters and how well he treated so many. Will miss him always.
